Sweden is on Vietnam's visa-free list. Swedish passport holders get 45 days without a visa — here's everything you need to know.
Visa Exemption for Swedish Citizens
For stays of up to 45 days, Swedish passport holders do not require a visa to enter Vietnam. Sweden is one of the 13 countries granted this unilateral visa exemption.
For stays between 46 and 90 days, Swedish citizens must apply for a Vietnam eVisa online.
Applications should only be submitted through the Vietnam National Web Portal on Immigration, which is the official government platform.
The eVisa is accepted at 83 designated international entry ports (17 airports, 27 land borders, and 39 seaports).
The 45-day visa exemption is strictly for single-entry visits. Travelers must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival.
