As an ASEAN neighbor, Singaporean citizens enjoy visa-free access to Vietnam for 30 days. Planning a longer stay? Here's how to get an eVisa.

Visa Exemption for Singaporean Citizens

Singaporean passport holders do not require a visa to enter Vietnam for stays of up to 30 days. This is provisioned under the ASEAN bilateral visa exemption agreement.

For stays exceeding 30 days (up to 90 days), Singaporean citizens must apply for a Vietnam eVisa prior to departure.

The eVisa application must be submitted through the Vietnam National Web Portal on Immigration, which is the sole official government platform.

The eVisa is formally accepted at 83 designated international entry ports, comprising 17 airports, 27 land border gates, and 39 seaports. For shorter durations, travelers may proceed under the standard visa exemption.

The 30-day ASEAN visa exemption is applicable for both tourism and business purposes. A passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry is mandatory.
