Italian passport holders are eligible for 45 days of visa-free entry to Vietnam. Learn about entry requirements, eVisa applications for longer stays, and consular services.

Visa Requirements for Italian Citizens

For stays of 45 days or less, Italian passport holders are exempt from requiring a visa to enter Vietnam. This policy applies to tourism, business, and transit purposes.

For stays exceeding 45 days, up to a maximum of 90 days, Italian citizens must apply for a Vietnam eVisa online through the official National Web Portal on Immigration prior to departure.

The visa exemption allows for a maximum stay of 45 days per entry. The eVisa is valid for entry at any of the 83 approved international checkpoints, including airports, land borders, and seaports.
