Universal eVisa Eligibility
Since the policy update in August 2023, which remains in effect in 2026, Vietnam has abolished the restricted list of eligible countries for its electronic visa system. Currently, citizens and passport holders from all countries and territories worldwide are eligible to apply for a Vietnam eVisa. This policy facilitates entry for international tourists and business travelers.
eVisa Policy Specifications
The current eVisa policy includes the following specifications:
- Validity: Permitted stay of up to 90 days.
- Entry Types: Single-entry and multiple-entry eVisas are available.
- Eligibility: Applicable to citizens of all countries and territories.

Application Requirements

- A valid passport with at least 6 months of validity from the planned date of entry.
- At least 2 blank pages in the passport for immigration stamps.
- A recent passport-sized portrait photograph (without glasses).
- A clear digital scan or photograph of the passport's biometric data page.
- A valid payment method (credit or debit card) for the processing fee.
The eVisa permits entry into Vietnam through 83 designated international border checkpoints. The only official website for processing the Vietnam eVisa is the National Web Portal on Immigration.
