Vietnamese visa policy for Japanese citizens
Japanese citizens are eligible for a 45-day visa exemption when entering Vietnam. No advance visa is required for stays up to 45 days. For stays exceeding 45 days and up to 90 days, a Vietnam eVisa must be obtained prior to departure. The eVisa permits tourism, business, and family visits, and is accepted at 83 entry ports nationwide.
